Aspects FAQ
- What is an aspect in astrology?
An aspect is the angle between two planets in a chart, showing how their energies connect and whether they work with ease, tension, or a mix of both.
- What are the major aspects?
The major aspects are the conjunction, opposition, square, trine, and sextile, and they form the backbone of most chart interpretation.
- Do difficult aspects mean something bad?
Not automatically. Challenging aspects like squares and oppositions can feel tense, but they also show where growth, change, and motivation are strongest.
- What is the difference between applying and separating aspects?
An applying aspect is moving toward exact and often feels stronger, while a separating aspect is moving away from exact and describes themes that have already peaked.
