What Does a Planet in Exaltation Mean?

A planet in exaltation is positioned in a Zodiac sign where its qualities are traditionally considered to be strong and well expressed. This makes Libra an important position for the serious and disciplined qualities of Saturn.

Exaltation does not mean that everything connected with a planet automatically becomes easy or successful. Every planet has both positive and negative qualities, and the complete birth chart still needs to be considered. The houses, aspects and positions of the other planets can change the way an exalted planet is expressed. A strong planet can still be used badly, just as a more difficult planetary position can be used well.
